Start with the requirement
Before asking for a document, explain what the agency needs and which placement it relates to. Check that the candidate can access the correct agency and compliance case. Use the case status to distinguish an outstanding request from evidence already awaiting review.
Choose the appropriate evidence route
Follow the route offered for the requirement. Upload a document when upload is available. Where live capture is enabled, follow the camera guidance and review the requested photographs before submission. If the route cannot be completed, contact the agency about an alternative rather than submitting unrelated evidence.
Make camera capture practical
Use even lighting, keep the requested document within the frame and check that the information is legible. Follow the prompts for any required face photograph. Camera guidance helps frame evidence; it does not verify identity or establish a legal right to work.
Keep submission and approval distinct
After sending evidence, return to the case to follow its status. The agency reviews the material and records its decision. If more information is requested, keep the response attached to the relevant requirement so the reviewer can follow the history.
Prepare the rollout together
Walk through the experience with the team responsible for compliance. Confirm feature availability, candidate support, the alternative capture route and the agency’s approved privacy information before inviting people to use it.
